Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Registered Nurse – Med Surg Float Pool

Schedule: Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A. One weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend.

Assignment Details: Contract Duration: 16 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Active NY RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Two years recent experience in acute med surg/tele in a hospital
• Two years of U.S. work experience required for non U.S. candidates
• EMR: EPIC

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Med Surg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor patient progress and maintain clear communication with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must work at least one holiday per contract.
• Required to float to other units if needed.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Block schedule may be requested but is not guaranteed.
