Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold a valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher license
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in severe needs or specialized settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support for elementary students (grades K-2) in a severe special education classroom
• Create and adapt curriculum and activities based on individualized education plans (IEPs) and specific learning goals
• Implement evidence-based strategies and interventions to meet each student’s needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and participation
• Collaborate with classroom aides, therapists, and family members to ensure continuity of care and instruction
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and staff training sessions
