Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.Job DescriptionManaging the movement, availability, and documentation of materials to support production schedules and departmental prioritiesEnsuring timely material flow, accurate inventory tracking, and effective coordination with production teams to maintain operational continuityRequirementsBachelor's degree and two years of production floor supply experience; OR Equivalent military supply experience and two years of production floor supply experience OR high school diploma / General Education Development (GED) Diploma and six years of production floor supply experienceCoordinate and expedite the flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors' prioritiesReviews production schedules and confer with department supervisors to determine material required or overdue, locate or requisition the material, and establish delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of materialArrange for in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules, and with department supervisors for repair and assembly of material and its transportation to various departments, and examine material delivered to production departments to verify if type specifiedIdentify and make available the amount of material needed for specific job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes and using adding machineCompile reports of quantity and type of material on hand, move or transport material from one department to another, using hand or industrial truckCompile perpetual production records in order to locate material in process of production, using manual or computerized systemDesired SkillsExperience performing material coordinator duties at the Engineering and Prototyping Facility (EPF) or Special Communications Rapid Integration Facility (SCRIF) at NAWCAD WOLFClearance InformationSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVELTravel RequirementsNo more than five business days per calendar yearAbout UsScientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
