Project Manager (Heavy Civil Construction)

Wiskonans-based Heavy Civil Contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager in Milwaukee. Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year. Position hosted by Collin Walsh. Job Details As a Project Manager you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from conception to completion, collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budget while upholding high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project timelines and resolve issues. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards. Prepare and review project proposals, contracts, and change orders. Track project financials, including budgets, expenses, and forecasting. Communicate effectively with clients to provide project updates and address concerns promptly. Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Foster a positive team environment and mentor junior staff members. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred). Proven experience as a Project Manager in the civil construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and project management software (e.g., HCSS). Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
