About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Supply Chain to spearhead the development and execution of its global supply chain strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, strategic sourcing, planning, inventory management, logistics, transportation, warehousing, and supplier management. This executive will be tasked with driving operational excellence, ensuring product availability, cost optimization, and exceptional customer service across the global business. Key responsibilities for the role include leading a high-performing global supply chain organization, developing strategic supplier partnerships, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in consumer products, nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, food, health and wellness, or CPG manufacturing environments, and will be expected to have a strong knowledge of ERP systems and experience with global sourcing and supplier management. Applicants for the Vice President of Supply Chain position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA being preferred, and have at least 12 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience. The role requires a strategic, hands-on leader with a proven track record in building and scaling international supply chain organizations. The candidate must be adept at driving sourcing strategies, improving demand forecasting, and developing risk mitigation strategies for global suppliers. Strong leadership competencies, including being a strategic thinker, results-oriented, and a collaborative leader, are essential. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives, as well as a customer-focused mindset and exceptional relationship-building skills, are also key qualifications for this executive role.
