Urology Physician

Locums - York, Pennsylvania, Urology Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Coverage Dates:

• July 13-17, 2026 (or July 20, 2026)
• September 21, 2026 (7:00 AM) - September 27, 2026 (7:00 AM)

Schedule Details: 24-hour beeper call coverage

Callback volume averages:

• 2-6 hours per day

Practice Setting: Hospital

Level I Trauma Center

Patient Population: Adults (18+)

Pediatric cases are uncommon but may include emergency torsion presentations while on call.

Support Staff: Office/Clinic:

• 4 Medical Assistants
• 1 Clinical Service Associate (CSA)
• 1 Registered Nurse

Coverage Needs: Full-time locum coverage, though assignments may be split among multiple providers.

Department Description: 24-hour beeper call coverage

Robotic surgery available

Supervision of new APPs will be required.

Facility Details:

• 16 Operating Rooms
• EPIC EMR

Office Equipment Available:

• Cystoscope
• Towers
• Injection equipment

Typical clinic volume consists of:

• Cystoscopy and stent procedures
• Office visits
• Approximately 24-28 patients per day
• Higher volumes only in urgent situations

Core Procedures:

• Vasectomy - Required
• Vasectomy Reversal - Preferred, not mandatory
• Cystoscopy (OR) - Required
• Prostate Procedures - Required
• Ureteroscopy (OR) - Required
• Penile Plication
• Penile Implants (rare)
• Lithotripsy - Required
• Orchiopexy - Required
• Circumcision (rare; OB typically manages pediatric cases but occasional support may be requested)

EMR: EPIC

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology - Required
• Active Pennsylvania License - Preferred for quicker start
• IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand accepted
• DEA - Required
• Minimum 1 year of experience - Required
• Will accept new Grads
