West Auto Sales is looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead our automotive sales team and help grow dealership performance. The Sales Manager will oversee day-to-day sales operations, coach and develop sales associates, assist with customer negotiations, and ensure every customer receives a professional and enjoyable buying experience. This role is ideal for a results-oriented leader who understands automotive sales, values customer relationships, and knows how to build a high-performing team. Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals. Oversee daily showroom operations, sales activities, customer traffic, and lead follow-up. Work closely with sales associates to structure and close deals effectively. Assist customers with vehicle selection, pricing, trade-ins, and financing options. Monitor individual and team performance, providing coaching and feedback as needed. Maintain a strong understanding of vehicle inventory, pricing, promotions, and financing programs. Review sales reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth. Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and applicable industry regulations. Work closely with the finance and management teams to ensure smooth deal processing. Address customer concerns professionally and resolve issues to maintain customer satisfaction. Support inventory merchandising and ensure vehicles are properly presented and ready for sale. Help recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members when needed. Requirements 2+ years of automotive sales or sales management experience preferred. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to coach, motivate, and hold a sales team accountable. Knowledge of automotive sales, financing, trade-ins, and dealership operations. Strong customer-service and relationship-building skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
