Machinist

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE including 4/10-hour shifts and 5/8-hour shifts with flexible start times! What does the Machinist do at SpecSys? Knowledge of or willingness to learn ISO G code programming for either lathes or vertical mills Machine set up for parts run for lathes or vertical mills Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints to ensure products are machined correctly Ability to understand and willingness to follow existing QC processes Follow guidelines to arrange tooling and /or parts in a certain order Operate and control equipment responsibly and safely Inspect and evaluate the quality of piece parts What are we looking for in a quality candidate for Machinist? CNC Precision Manufacturing Technician AAS Degree, Diploma, or Certificate Preferably two years of experience Has any combination of education and experience that provides the required skill and knowledge for successful performance Many tasks include their own work and/or the review of work of others in the department.
