Technical Project Coordinator / Restaurant Technology Support Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Project Coordinator / Restaurant Technology Support Analyst for a top restaurant industry client. This individual will serve as the bridge between restaurant operations, product teams, support organizations, and external vendors to ensure critical restaurant technology solutions are functioning effectively. The role supports technologies including digital menu boards, drive-thru timers, kiosks, tablets, AI camera solutions, and other in-store digital platforms. This candidate will manage escalations, coordinate vendor support activities, troubleshoot technical issues in a lab environment, and help oversee products through the full lifecycle from implementation through ongoing production support. The ideal candidate is technically curious, highly organized, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, and capable of balancing both operational support and project-related responsibilities. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly while helping deliver an exceptional restaurant and customer experience.

Required Skills & Experience:

• ServiceNow experience (primary ticketing system)
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Excel
• Ability to create and work with Excel formulas including VLOOKUPs
• Experience managing tickets, escalations, and vendor communications
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Self-starter with strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Restaurant technology experience
• Digital menu board experience
• Vendor management experience
• Project coordination or project management background
• Experience with POS systems or related restaurant technologies
• Exposure to kiosks, tablets, AI cameras, drive-thru timers, or similar technologies
• Experience working in a lab or testing environment
• Bachelor's degree (not required)

Day to Day:

• Monitor and manage escalations related to restaurant technology products
• Utilize ServiceNow to manage and track support tickets
• Work closely with restaurant operators to understand technology issues and impacts
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues
• Support digital menu boards, drive-thru timers, kiosks, tablets, AI camera solutions, and related technologies
• Troubleshoot issues by recreating problems in the restaurant technology lab
• Investigate pricing discrepancies, inventory display issues, and menu board functionality
• Validate vendor invoices against completed support tickets and dispatch records
• Participate in support and operational calls alongside vendors and internal stakeholders
• Document processes, resolutions, and support activities
• Build relationships with Operations, Product, Support, and Vendor teams
• Assist with new technology rollouts and Day 2 support activities
• Occasionally visit local restaurant locations to validate or investigate technology-related issues
• Ensure restaurant lab equipment remains operational and available for testing

Compensation: $32/hr to $36/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.
