Position Overview We invite a skilled and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team that prioritizes exceptional patient care. Armed with cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will skillfully conduct diagnostic examinations, collaborate closely with a nurturing team of healthcare providers, and provide patients with reassurance through prompt and precise imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a range of ultrasound assessments, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during all procedures, communicating each detail with empathy and clarity
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver outstanding diagnostic images
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
- Thoroughly document procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic medical records system
- Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging methods and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Valid certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable functioning in a fast-paced environment, always prioritizing a patient-centered approach
