Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound assessments, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver outstanding diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic medical records system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging methods and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Valid certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
