About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President Controller to lead its financial operations in a dynamic, hybrid work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, driving accuracy in financial reporting, and aligning financial strategies with the organization's growth objectives. This role involves overseeing the preparation and reporting of financial statements, managing daily accounting functions, and leading initiatives to optimize accounting processes and enhance ERP system functionality. The VP Controller will also be instrumental in mentoring and developing a high-performing accounting team, providing technical accounting expertise, and supporting M&A integration and restructuring initiatives with strategic financial insights. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA certification, and a minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles. Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards is required, with multi-entity experience being preferred. The role demands proficiency in ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, and a proven track record in managing audits and enhancing accounting processes. Strong analytical and leadership skills, the ability to manage cross-functional relationships, and a meticulous focus on accuracy and detail are essential. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate ethical and professional integrity in decision-making and interactions.
