Cardiovascular Key Account Manager, Long Island, NY

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned healthcare systems in Brooklyn, NY. This role focuses on driving utilization of cardiovascular products through relationship-building with clinical and administrative decision-makers while coordinating cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular business strategy and institutional needs
- Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts, engaging priority providers with tailored approaches across inpatient and ambulatory settings
- Lead implementation initiatives and coordinate pull-through across field teams to drive appropriate product utilization
- Build relationships with cardiology, pharmacy, P&T committee members, and hospital finance decision-makers within assigned accounts
- Monitor account performance and market dynamics; provide field intelligence and recommendations to internal business and market access teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years sales or account management experience
- Master's degree with 4+ years sales or related account management experience
- Doctorate degree with 2+ years sales or account management experience
- 3+ years account management and public payor experience strongly preferred
- Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes
- Knowledge of hospital committee structures, P&T processes, and hospital reimbursement systems
- Understanding of Medicare, CMS policies, and payor systems
