Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Schedule

Weekend requirement: Every other weekend. On-call: Not required. Floating may occur to postpartum as needed.

Assignment Details

Deliveries: Approximately 200-300 per month. Travel experience required.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
Required certifications: AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM, FHM, ACLS, BLS, NRP.
Core clinical skills: Electronic fetal monitoring, high-risk pregnancy monitoring, assist/circulate for C-sections, assist with vaginal deliveries, and postpartum couplet care is a bonus.
Charting system: Epic.

Responsibilities

Provide care for patients during labor and delivery, including high-risk pregnancies.
Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal well-being.
Assist in the delivery process and newborn care at delivery.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
Document patient care accurately and timely.

Compliance / Notes

Parking details will be provided. Compact license must be in hand at the time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted.
