Commercial Property Accountant

Prime Capital Real Estate Group is a boutique commercial real estate firm specializing in the development, management, and leasing of income‑producing retail properties. We're based in Carrollton, TX and manage a growing portfolio of retail strip centers across the south‑central US. We're looking for a Commercial Property Accountant/Administrator to be the financial and administrative backbone of our property management operation. This is a process‑driven role centered on full‑cycle property accounting, tenant billing and lease compliance, CAM reconciliations, and owner reporting across a multi‑property retail portfolio. The right candidate will be detail‑oriented, thorough, self‑driven, and highly organized. What you'll own Checking account maintenance—Coding transactions to appropriate property and retrieving documentation for utility bill and service vendor auto‑pays; recording loan payments to appropriate property with appropriate principal/interest split Vendor maintenance—Recording/paying bills and ensuring proper vendor setup (W9's, payment details) Bank account and loan balance reconciliations Compiling standardized owner reports and distributing to ownership groups on a consistent monthly schedule Annual property budget preparation Lease Administration Tenant delinquency tracking and follow up Tenant insurance/COI requirements and follow up Tenant onboarding—accurately input lease data into property management software and set up charge schedules/escalations Lease expiration tracking and flagging to appropriate party (leasing team, property owner, etc.) Property Administration First point of contact for all tenant inquiries (billing, maintenance, leasing) and triaging to the appropriate internal team NNN/CAM estimate calculation, communication to tenants, and charge schedule update NNN/CAM reconciliation, communication to tenants, and billing/credits Coordinate quarterly property inspections and triage concerns/issues to appropriate party (maintenance, ownership, etc.) Qualifications 1+ years commercial property accounting experience (required) 1+ years AppFolio experience (required) NNN/CAM reconciliation experience (required) Commercial property maintenance coordination experience (preferred) $60,000-$70,000 annual salary depending on experience Competitive benefits package including health, dental, and vision #J-18808-Ljbffr Prime Capital Real Estate Group
