Staff Accountant

Job Summary: The Staff Accountant role will facilitate the day-to-day accounting functions in the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cashflow/banking, and other accounting areas. Key Responsibilities: Participate in the month end close process. Prepare and park journal entries related to revenue, COGS, prepaids, and cash. Prepare P&L analysis monthly to be reviewed by management and Operations team. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analysis. Preparation of information to support the financial, tax and bank audits. Prepare reporting package (P&L and KPI's) for upper management. Assist in the completion of special projects/ad hoc reporting and analysis. Drive process and tool standardization across the company Ad Hoc assistance within accounting as needed to support the business. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Financial Analysis and reporting experience preferred. Experience in accounting close and consolidation processes preferred. Research and reconciliation skills required. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite required. SAP experience is preferred but not required. Experience with Accounts Receivables and/or Accounts Payable is preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills required. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while working accurately and proficiently. Ability to work well with individuals at all levels inside and outside of the organization. Strong communications skills (written and verbal). Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Team player who thrives in a small, cross-functional team.
