Paralegal

A highly regarded boutique litigation law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Detroit, Michigan team. The firm handles sophisticated, high-stakes civil litigation in state and federal courts nationwide, with a practice focused on insurance defense, product liability, class actions, and complex commercial litigation . This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation paralegal who enjoys working on challenging matters, is comfortable managing large volumes of documents and deadlines, and wants to play a meaningful role in complex litigation. Responsibilities The Litigation Paralegal will work closely with attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, including: Supporting insurance defense, product liability, and class action matters Assisting with case development, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation Managing and organizing large volumes of litigation documents Supporting e-discovery and document review using Relativity Coordinating document productions, privilege reviews, and discovery responses Reviewing, organizing, and summarizing deposition transcripts and case materials Preparing deposition, hearing, and trial materials Assisting with preparation of pleadings, motions, exhibits, and court filings Conducting factual and legal research as directed by attorneys Maintaining case calendars and tracking litigation deadlines Coordinating with clients, experts, vendors, opposing counsel, and litigation teams Assisting attorneys with trial and hearing preparation Performing other litigation support responsibilities as needed Qualifications 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience preferred Experience with insurance defense and/or product liability litigation strongly preferred Experience supporting class action litigation is a plus Hands-on experience with Relativity required or strongly preferred Familiarity with e-discovery, document review, and litigation databases Experience working with state and federal court filings and procedures Strong knowledge of the litigation lifecycle and discovery process Excellent organizational and time-management skills Exceptional attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple matters, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms What the Firm Offers Competitive compensation Hybrid work environment Opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-stakes litigation Exposure to national insurance defense, product liability, and class action matters Collaborative and collegial team environment Meaningful responsibility and professional growth opportunities Strong commitment to work-life balance If you are an experienced litigation paralegal with a background in insurance defense, product liability, class actions, and Relativity , we'd love to connect with you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
