Immigration Paralegal

Angott Search Group is partnering with a leading law firm in the search for an experienced Immigration Paralegal to support attorneys and clients across a broad range of employment-based and family-based immigration matters. What You'll Do: Prepare and coordinate immigration applications and petitions filed with USCIS, CBP, the Department of State, and the Department of Labor. Maintain a tickler system to ensure timely filing of extensions, petitions, and other immigration matters. Prepare and support a variety of nonimmigrant and immigrant filings, including: TN applications, H-1B and H-4 petitions/applications, L-1A and L-1B petitions, E Visa applications, PERM applications, Immigrant petitions, Adjustment of Status and Consular Processing filings, Nonimmigrant visa applications, Waiver applications, Green Card renewals, Naturalization applications, & Requests for Evidence and appeals. Draft supporting letters, affidavits, and other documentation. Obtain, organize, and review supporting documents for immigration filings. Research and assist clients with obtaining foreign documents, including birth, military, prison, and police records. Coordinate certification and translation of foreign documents. Coordinate foreign credential equivalency evaluations. Maintain accurate case records and ensure filings are completed accurately and on schedule. Work independently while communicating effectively with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders. What You Bring: 5+ years of paralegal experience with demonstrated experience supporting immigration matters. Bachelor's degree required. Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program preferred. Strong knowledge of immigration processes, procedures, and government agencies. Experience with employment-based and/or family-based immigration matters. Intermediate to advanced experience using INSZoom. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities independently. #J-18808-Ljbffr
