This full-time, contract position is designed for a dedicated Physical Therapist who is enthusiastic about supporting Pre K-12 students and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Active Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health
• Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Ability to adapt services for a varied, Pre K-12 caseload across multiple campuses
• Commitment to completing all credentialing steps, including fingerprinting and acquisition of a JLA badge per Florida guidelines
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver on-site physical therapy services to students ranging from preschool through high school, tailoring interventions to meet diverse needs
• Travel between assigned school sites within the district to provide direct care, conduct assessments, and participate in IEP meetings
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with educators and support staff
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all therapy activities and progress reports
• Educate school personnel and families on strategies to improve student mobility, independence, and functional abilities in the school setting
