LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our client's team in Kearny Mesa on a 3-6 month temporary assignment with the potential to become a permanent employee based on performance and business needs. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys supporting employees, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting with hiring decisions
  
• Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and completion of employment documentation
  
• Process I-9 forms and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  
• Maintain accurate employee records and update information within the HRIS system
  
• Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, attendance tracking, and employee scheduling
  
• Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
  
• Respond to employee questions regarding company policies, benefits, and HR procedures
  
• Assist with employee relations matters while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  
• Prepare HR reports, maintain personnel files, and support audits as needed
  
• Coordinate training sessions, employee engagement activities, and company events
  
• Partner with managers to support performance management and employee development initiatives
  
• Perform general administrative duties to support the Human Resources department
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources experience required
  
• Knowledge of HR compliance, I-9 verification, and employment laws
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
  
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and customer service skills
  

Assignment Details:

• 3-6 month contract role, possibility to go permanent
  
• Onsite role
  
• Located in Kearny Mesa, San Diego
  
• Compensation: $26.00-$29.00 per hour DOE
  
  
• Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:30pm PST
