This position will spend approximately 50% of its time supporting recruitment activities and 50% supporting general HR responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role provides an opportunity to develop broad HR experience while taking an active role in attracting, hiring, onboarding, and supporting employees throughout the employment lifecycle.Your roles/responsibilities:Recruitment – Approximately 50%Manage the day-to-day recruitment process for assigned positionsPartner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and candidate qualificationsReview resumes and applications and identify qualified candidatesConduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managersMaintain timely and professional communication with candidates throughout the hiring processExtend employment offers in accordance with company proceduresTrack recruiting activity, candidate status, open positions, and time-to-fill metricsDevelop and maintain relationships with staffing agencies, schools, and other talent pipelines as appropriateAssist with recruiting events, job fairs, career outreach, and other employment branding activitiesMaintain accurate and confidential candidate recordsIdentify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment processSource for passive candidates for current openingsGeneral Human Resources – Approximately 50%Support the day-to-day administration of HR programs, policies, and proceduresAssist with new hire onboarding, including preparation of new hire paperwork, orientation, HRIS setup, and required documentationMaintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR filesAssist employees and managers with routine HR questions and direct more complex matters to the appropriate HR team memberAssist with employee status changes, transfers, promotions, and terminationsMaintain strict confidentiality regarding employee information and sensitive HR mattersYour profile/qualifications/skills:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceAt least 1 year of experience in human resources, recruiting, or a related administrative rolePrevious experience with full-cycle recruiting, preferredFamiliarity with employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirementsWe offer:Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance401k matchCompany-paid holidays and Paid Time Off9/80 or a 4/10 flex schedule optionAbout Acutronic: The Acutronic Group has a proud history of building technologies and teams that are crucial to the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries.
