Practice Assistant | Redwood City, CA | Up to $80,000 Base

Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Practice Assistant to join their Support Services Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain exposure within a top-tier legal environment while supporting Senior Associates on a wide range of administrative and operational tasks.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn, with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional services setting. This role offers structured training, mentorship, and clear opportunities for long-term growth within a prestigious global firm.

This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days in-office and 1 day remote. New hires will be onsite 4 days per week during the first month for onboarding and training.

What You’ll Do

• Manage calendars and coordinate meetings across multiple stakeholders

• Maintain and update contacts and internal databases

• Coordinate meeting logistics, events, and team functions

• Arrange domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries

• Process expense reports and reimbursements accurately and efficiently

• Provide time entry and billing support

• Assist with light document preparation and formatting

• Support marketing and business development efforts through administrative tasks

• Assist with matter management, including audit letter processes

• Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc projects

• Contribute to limited-scope project work as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• 0–3 years of administrative or relevant professional experience (legal or professional services preferred)

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Ability and willingness to learn new systems and tools

• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic

• Adaptable and eager to grow within a structured professional environment

Compensation & Benefits

Up to $80,000 base salary, depending on experience
