Production Planning & Inventory Control Specialist

Bio-Techne seeks a Production Planning & Inventory Control Specialist in Denver to manage production orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and coordinate material movements in a lab production environment. The role requires strong ERP system expertise and attention to detail to support order fulfillment and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Create, monitor, and manage production orders and past due items using ERP software
• Coordinate receipt, tracking, and posting of raw materials and finished products from suppliers
• Create and process ERP transactions for material movements, adjustments, transfers, and scrap
• Monitor inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies through root cause analysis
• Track and communicate inventory control metrics; identify and support process improvement opportunities

Requirements

• High school diploma with 4–6 years inventory management experience, or bachelor's degree in supply chain/operations with 2–4 years experience
• Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and data analysis skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Knowledge of inventory systems, lot numbering, and lot tracking procedures
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while prioritizing multiple tasks

Compensation: $44,300–$72,950 base
