Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments for clients to understand their specific mental health needs, developing personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances and goals.

• Provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing a range of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to foster positive change.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with other mental health professionals to ensure that clients receive comprehensive support, actively attending case discussions and consultations as needed.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and training sessions, cultivating a culture of learning and self-improvement while being open to feedback and new ideas.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy, incorporating innovative techniques and insights into your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will encompass individuals, families, and couples from diverse backgrounds dealing with a variety of challenges, including but not limited to relationship conflicts, parenting issues, substance use disorders, and mental health concerns. Your role is essential in providing them with coping tools and strategies tailored to their unique situations, ultimately helping them facilitate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related clinical field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LMFT license in the state of New York.
