Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our company in Washington. This individual will be expected to have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience in budgeting, financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar industry. They must also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day financial operations Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement Assist with tax preparation and compliance Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes Provide guidance to junior accounting staff Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field Solid knowledge of GAAP principles Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent communication both written and verbal skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Salary: $1,000 per month Location: Washington, USA Contract Type: Full-time Accommodation: Accommodation can be provided if needed Preference: This position is open to all nationalities.
