Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit, ensuring a safe and positive patient experience.
• Assist with cesarean sections and high-risk deliveries, providing competent and compassionate care to patients and their families.
• Float to different departments within the facility as required to meet patient care needs.
• Educate mothers on postpartum care and breastfeeding support to promote health and well-being.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and according to facility policy.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license and 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRPS certifications required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred.
• Experience with high-risk obstetrics and delivery room procedures, including circulating for C-sections.
• Proficient in Epic charting system and maintaining comprehensive patient records.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population.
• Willingness to float within the facility and to affiliate hospitals as needed.
