Bachelor's Degreepreferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year acute care experience required. Licenses/Certification: RN license current in the state of Colorado or compact state. Current BLS certification, ACLS and PALS maintenance expected. Responsibilities: As the Emergency Department Registered Nurse at Gunnison Valley Health, you will assess and care for patients by collaborating with all members of the health care team. You will cross train and float to other areas of nursing as required. You’ll utilize your unique skills and ideas by: Participating in process improvement and consistently offering solution based input. Providing patient and family centered care. Continuing to attain knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practices. Compensation: $33.00/hr - $46.62/hr, depending on experience. Physical Requirements Occasionally (0-33%) - Walking, sitting, feeling, crouching/squatting, stooping, kneeling, stairs, lifting/lowering (0-50 lbs), carrying (0-50 lbs), pushing/pulling (0-50 lbs) Frequently (34-66%) – Standing, change position, reaching, reach across midline, handling, fingering Continuously (67-100%) – See with corrective eyewear, hear clearly with assistance Shift - 12 Hour Shifts, night shift Status - FT There is no deadline to apply for this position; we are accepting applications on an ongoing basis until a finalist is selected.
