Summary:
Responsible for preparing, measuring, cutting, and staging materials for production and finished products. This role follows job specifications and production schedules to ensure materials are accurately prepared and available for the next stage of the manufacturing process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and follow job packets, work instructions, material specifications, and production schedules.
• Measure and cut materials according to required dimensions using production equipment and hand tools.
• Prepare materials for press and/or customer use.
• Stage and organize completed materials for production operators.
• Inspect materials and measurements for accuracy and quality.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding production needs or issues.
• Perform other related production duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively in a production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn hands-on mechanical and production skills.
• Ability to perform basic measurements and math calculations.
• Ability to use a ruler, measuring tools, and other basic production equipment accurately.
• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, machine operation, or material-handling experience is a plus, but not required.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience or training in manufacturing, production, machine operation, or material handling is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently use hands for handling materials and equipment.
• Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/or move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally walk, climb, or balance.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack as needed.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing/production environment with exposure to moving mechanical equipment.
• Work may be performed near industrial cutting and production machinery.
• Noise levels may be loud, and appropriate safety procedures and equipment must be followed.
