Schedule: MondayFriday, 2:30 PM11:00 PM

Pay: $23.00/hour

Hours: Approximately 4045 hours per week

Environment: Clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility

Job Description

We are hiring a CNC Operator for a 2nd shift position in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on machining role working with CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and other production equipment.

Youll set up and operate CNC machines, make basic adjustments, inspect finished parts, and help keep production running. This is a good opportunity for someone with CNC experience who wants to build their setup and machining skills while working with a variety of equipment.

What Youll Do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
• Load and unload parts and materials
• Upload programs and make machine offsets
• Perform tool changes and basic machine adjustments
• Read blueprints and follow part specifications
• Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers
• Perform routine quality checks throughout production
• Deburr, clean, and prepare finished parts for shipment
• Assist with CNC grinders, Swiss-style machines, and other equipment
• Perform minor assembly of machined components
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

What Were Looking For

• 13 years of CNC machining experience preferred
• Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes
• Ability to read blueprints
• Experience using micrometers and calipers
• Basic understanding of G-code and CNC machine operation
• Experience with tool changes and machine offsets
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Experience with Haas, Fanuc, Swiss-style CNC equipment, or CNC grinders is a plus, but training is available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Prospect, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
