Staff Accountant

Our office is located in Westerville, Ohio, a northern suburb of Columbus, with a wide array of clients from individuals to start-up and established enterprises. We are currently seeking to expand our team with an experienced professional who has spent 2-6 years in a public accounting environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong leadership and communication skills with proven experience in the delivery of quality client service. Key attributes sought include specialization in the areas of financial statement compilation and preparation services, as well as proficiency in all aspects of general ledger accounting, write-up services, and journal entry preparation. Experience in business tax preparation and QuickBooks consulting is a plus. You should consider our position if you have: * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required - CPA a plus * 2-6 years relevant experience in a small local public accounting firm preparing financial statement compilations and business tax returns * Excellent computer skills in MS Excel, MS Word, as well as high proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, and professional tax software (UltraTax preferred) * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects * Excellent organizational and communication skills In this critical role you will: * Prepare various accounting and financial statement products up to and including financial statement compilations and preparations, with transaction data entry,
