Responsibilities

As a Leader Of Arborist Crew, you will play an important role in:

• Performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture safely, including:
  • Pruning
  • Cable and bracing
  • Sprays
  • Moves
  • Properly maintaining and handling equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Bringing a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the workplace
• Supervising and directing crews while performing tree care services, according to the instructions of the arborist representative and local manager
• Ensuring that each crew member receives the appropriate training for each assigned task
• Ensuring that all arboriculture work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards
• Communicating, answering questions, and establishing relationships with clients

Qualifications

• Passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors throughout the year in any weather conditions
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team orientation, and self-motivation
