Responsibilities include identifying new markets and cusotmers for Bekaert’s specialty wire business. This will include managing a pipeline of quotes and trials while developing new opportunities to grow volume and profit pool.Key Activities and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze market and customer opportunities considering volume, profit pool and market CAGRIdentify new opportunities within the region and actions to capitalize on these opportunitiesSuggest new product innovation to successfully grow our businessEntrepreneurial mindset to expand revenue and profitability in the regionWork with customer’s engineers, purchasing agents and owners to develop new products and quantify the value proposition of the materialsAbility to read technical drawings and documentationPrepare and present technical proposalsWork closely with Bekaert Orrville engineering team to confirm ability to meet customer specifications for new business opportunitiesSkillsSelf-motivated, self-starter with strong strategic mindsetConcise and accurate decision making abilitiesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProficient in CRM systemsKnowledge of PPAP proceduresA desire to learn and grow within the organizationA competitive mindset and a passion to winPrevious ExperienceBA/BS degree (preferably technical- ex. Engineering, Metalurgy, Sciences)Minimum of 7 years proven business development and/or sales experience, ideally with custom fabricated productsWillingness and ability to travel upwards of 30% throughout assigned region of North AmericaQualifications and EducationBA/BS degree (preferably technical- ex.
