As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Incident Reporting in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a public education location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.06 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established school district protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of school buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unauthorized persons or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel. Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
