Campus Staff Minister - Texas (Graduate & Faculty Ministry)

Your Role Key responsibilities include: Pursue spiritual growth through engagement with Scripture, prayer, and worship individually and in community. Develop self-leadership, embracing Scriptural standards for behavior and attitudes. Increase the number, size, health, spiritual maturity, and campus-wide influence of witnessing communities of students and faculty. Communicate and model InterVarsity’s vision to see students and faculty transformed and campuses renewed. Create a culture of dependence on God and expectation to start new witnessing communities on campuses. Lead students and faculty through Scripture, prayer, teaching, and discipleship experiences aligned with the vision. Set annual goals with teams for qualitative and quantitative growth, including conversions and leadership development. Build leadership teams demonstrating spiritual vitality, relational health, and mission alignment. Develop and execute ministry plans, evaluating and modifying as needed. Mobilize students and faculty to engage their networks with the gospel and start new missional communities. Supervise Ministry Interns and Campus Ministry Interns as delegated. Gather, invite, and develop diverse groups of students and faculty to follow Jesus and advance campus mission. Create opportunities for encounters with Jesus through Scripture, worship, prayer, mission experiences, and conferences. Equip students and faculty to think strategically about campus engagement and proclaim the good news of Jesus. Disciple students and faculty to grow in Christlikeness and develop ministry skills. Invite, coach, and equip students and faculty to become effective participants and leaders. Partner with local, area, regional, and national InterVarsity staff and volunteers to maintain biblical standards of excellence and integrity. Raise 100% of the assigned financial budget through developing ministry partners including churches, alumni, and community members. Communicate regularly with ministry partners through visits, calls, emails, and prayer letters. Identify and invest in advocates to build volunteer and donor networks. About You The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications: Annual affirmation of InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement, Code of Conduct, and theological papers. Bachelor’s degree required for four-year campus assignments; Associate’s degree minimum for two-year or community college campuses. Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $44,016 to $58,680 per year for full-time (40 hours/week), prorated for part-time. Compensation funded through personal fundraising; actual salary depends on ability to raise necessary funds. Competitive benefits package including health care and retirement savings with match.
