The Mechanical Engineering Department at Cal Poly invites applications for possible temporary part-time position(s) available as determined by need for the 2026-27 academic year. Teaching assignments will be in fundamental or advanced mechanical engineering courses. Initial rank and salary for lecturer faculty are based on professional experience and educational background and are determined by the hiring department. Most new lecturers are hired at the Lecturer A or B rank. A graduate degree is preferred. Teaching and/or industrial experience is preferred. Applicants with extensive industry experience are encouraged to apply.
