Quick Facts Location: Massena Hospital, 1 Hospital Drive, Massena, NY & Canton Potsdam Hospital, 50 Leroy Street, Potsdam, NY Start Date: 09/14/2026 End Date: 03/15/2027 Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (Day shift) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certs: NY License, AHA or RQI certifications, Board Certified in Cardiology, Epic experience required Experience: Preferred 5+ years, outpatient and inpatient cardiology experience Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $281.58 Benefits: Competitive pay packages, weekly pay schedule via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), robust referral bonus program, paid sick time per state/federal laws, licensure, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide outpatient cardiology consultations approximately 3 days per week Supervise stress tests, including nuclear stress tests (support role; reading NUCs preferred but not required) Conduct inpatient consults and participate in stress lab activities Assist with on-call duties as needed (4:00 pm 8:00 am) Support hospital consult services at designated facilities Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care Support workflow between outpatient and inpatient services, ensuring seamless patient management What You Need NY medical license in hand Board Certified in Cardiology AHA or RQI certifications Experience with Epic EMR Ability to work independently in a solo practice setting Good communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This role involves working at two locations Massena Hospital and Canton Potsdam Hospital delivering outpatient, inpatient, and hospital consult services. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with responsibilities that include supervising stress tests and providing clinical consultation. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and a supportive team environment with flexible options if the preferred schedule cannot be met.
