Job Summary

All IT Solutions is seeking a Project Manager IT to join a client engagement.

Responsibilities

• 501 Belleville St Victoria British Columbia British Columbia V8V 2L8 Canada- Role T4/C2C both are fine Lead and manage multiple mid-sized IT projects, typically under $5M and lasting less than one year Serve as an adjunct to a Project Manager at Experience Level 1 for large or complex projects or act as a project lead on routine IM- or IT-related government projects
• Develop and maintain project charters, detailed project plans, schedules, and risk management strategies Coordinate resources, manage change requests, and monitor project performance to ensure timely and within-budget delivery Track project scope, costs, timelines, and quality standards, providing regular updates to stakeholders and executive leadership
• Facilitate communication across cross-disciplinary teams, government agencies, and external contractors Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively Ensure adherence to project management best practices and organizational standards
• Foster collaboration and consensus among diverse teams, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities A minimum of three (3) years of recent experience within the last seven (7) years as a Project Manager in one or more of the following knowledge areas
• Project Integration Management Project Scope Management Project Time Management Project Cost Management Project Quality Management Project Human Resource Management Project Communications Management Project Risk Management Project Procurement

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the systems development life cycle and project management principles Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience managing projects of at least eight months’ duration and budget up to $5M Experience working on government or public sector IT projects is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to interact effectively at the senior management level
• PMI – Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification
• Experience leading or collaborating with cross-functional teams in a government environment
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing project priorities and environments
