Welder / Fabrication Technician

MIG Welding | Fabrication | Competitive Pay & Benefits

Looking for a welding career with strong pay, excellent benefits, and room to grow? We're hiring Welders and Fabrication Technicians to support manufacturing and production operations in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

This position is ideal for candidates with MIG welding, fabrication, blueprint reading, assembly, or manufacturing experience.

• Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum components

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols

• Measure and fit materials using tape measures and layout tools

• Assemble and fabricate parts to meet production specifications

• Tack, weld, and finish components according to quality standards

• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and weld quality

• Work with production and assembly teams to complete projects on schedule

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• 6+ months of MIG welding experience

• 1+ year of welding, fabrication, or manufacturing experience preferred

• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings

• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately

• Experience welding steel or aluminum

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Ability to work in a physically active manufacturing environment

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Aluminum welding

• Flux core welding

• TIG welding

• Fabrication and fitting experience

• Manufacturing or production welding experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
