Regional Sales Manager(Education Sector)

Dobot is looking for a Sales Manager for the Education Business in the DACH region to drive market growth across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This is a full-time role based in Germany, with flexibility to work remotely or on-site depending on business needs. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing Dobot’s education business in the DACH market, including identifying new opportunities, building relationships with schools, universities, vocational training institutions, education partners, and channel distributors. The role will focus on promoting Dobot’s robotics and automation education solutions, expanding market presence, and achieving regional sales targets. This position requires a strong combination of sales capability, market development skills, and technical understanding of robotics, automation, STEM education, or related technology solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with regional and global teams to develop sales strategies, deliver product and solution presentations, manage partners, negotiate commercial agreements, and ensure customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager will also monitor education market trends, public funding opportunities, competitor activities, and customer needs to support Dobot’s long-term growth in the DACH education sector. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies for Dobot’s education business across the DACH region. Identify and pursue business opportunities with schools, universities, vocational training centers, research institutions, education organizations, and public-sector education projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with education customers, channel partners, distributors, system integrators, and other key stakeholders. Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, solution presentation, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing. Promote Dobot’s robotics and automation education solutions by translating technical product capabilities into clear educational and customer value. Develop and manage channel partners to expand market coverage and improve business conversion. Conduct market research and opportunity analysis, including education trends, funding programs, procurement processes, and competitor activities in the DACH region. Collaborate with internal teams, including product, marketing, technical support, and global education sales teams, to deliver effective customer solutions. Support marketing activities, exhibitions, workshops, product demonstrations, and customer training events. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, customer records, and market feedback. Represent Dobot professionally at education events, industry exhibitions, partner meetings, and customer visits. Travel within the DACH region and internationally as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Education Technology, Marketing, ICT, Automation, Robotics, or a related field. Proven experience in sales, business development, channel development, or account management, preferably in the education, robotics, automation, STEM, EdTech, or related technology sector. Strong understanding of the DACH education market, including schools, universities, vocational education, training institutions, or public education projects. Technical sales capability, with the ability to understand and communicate robotics, automation, or STEM education solutions. Solid ability to translate technical product features into educational value, teaching applications, and customer benefits. Experience in channel development, distributor management, or partner enablement is highly preferred. Strong sales negotiation, customer relationship management, pipeline management, and opportunity development skills. Good market research and strategic planning capability, with the ability to identify growth opportunities in the education sector. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English. Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote or hybrid working environment. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with global teams.
