Day to D

ay• Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial and commercial steel fabrication project

s.• Complete material, labor, equipment, and vendor takeoffs using project drawings and specification

s.• Review drawings and specifications to ensure all project scope is captured accuratel

y.• Communicate with contractors and suppliers to obtain pricing, clarify requirements, and track bid statu

s.• Prepare scopes of work, inclusions/exclusions, and supporting estimating documentatio

n.• Work closely with the estimating team to meet project deadlines and maintain schedule

nts• Minimum 5 years of experience in steel fabrication estimati

ng.• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawin

gs.• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skil

ls.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and On-Screen Takeo

ff.• Excellent communication and organizational skil

ls.• Knowledge of construction practices and steel industry standar

ds.• High School Diploma required; further education preferr
