Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM

Job Summary

BG Staffing is looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day property maintenance operations. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience in general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. The right candidate will help ensure the property remains safe, functional, and well-maintained while delivering excellent service to residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests and work orders promptly.
• Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
• Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance concerns.
• Assist with apartment turns, including repairs, painting touch-ups, and unit preparation.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Keep accurate records of completed work and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in apartment, residential, commercial, or multifamily settings preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• HVAC certification is a plus.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
