Maintenance Technician

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!Location: Timberlake, NC (onsite)Schedule: Full-time | Non-ExemptAbout the RoleVoltage is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment and facility systems in our manufacturing operation. In this role, you will play a critical part in minimizing downtime, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting safe, efficient production.What You’ll DoReceive, install, and commission new production equipment in partnership with vendors.Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment including crimp presses, cutters, and testers.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.Maintain facility systems such as compressed air, HVAC, lighting, and electrical panels.Document maintenance activities and work orders in CMMS systems (SAP PM or similar).Support equipment calibration and validation activities with Quality teams.Respond to equipment failures and production line-down events with urgency.Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.What We’re Looking For3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills (motors, sensors, basic PLCs).Ability to read electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience required.Experience maintaining crimp presses (Schleuniger, Komax, Artos) preferred.PLC experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and industrial electrical certifications preferred.Experience installing new equipment in manufacturing or startup environments preferred.Familiarity with CMMS systems (SAP PM or similar).Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.Why Join Us?Work hands-on with advanced manufacturing equipment.Be part of a growing operation with strong investment in production capability.Opportunity to expand technical skills across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.Additional InformationApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. The Company will not sponsor or take over sponsorship of any employment visa, including without limitation, H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN status, or I-485 job portability or similar immigration processes.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity, fostering an inclusive workplace where all employees thrive. #J-18808-Ljbffr
