Job Description: APPOINTMENT: January 1, 2025. Part-time or full-time work schedule available. RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general medical examinations, diagnostic and treatment, and may occasionally apply specialized medical skills and training. As staff physician, the successful candidate will also direct and evaluate the medical practice of Beu Health Center ensuring that the basic goals and objectives of the health care program are maintained and high quality standards of clinical care are achieved. SALARY: Full-time salary range of $160,000 to $200,300, commensurate with experience. Western Illinois University employees may be eligible for a variety of State of Illinois benefits. Requirements: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program
- DEA certification or eligibility
- Completion of approved internship and residency program
- Board certified/eligible in primary care specialty required (pediatrics, adult, family, or internal medicine)
- Illinois State medical license or eligibility
- Five (5) years of experience in a student health service, health care facility, or private practice
- Effective communication skills
