Concept: Ultra-Premium Independent Indian Fine Dining & Luxury Omakase

Location: Legacy North — Plano, TX

Base Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 (Based on pedigree and market experience)

Additional Compensation: 10%–15% Performance Bonus tied to revenue, guest satisfaction, and team retention

Opened in November 2025 at Legacy North in Plano, Texas, this independent culinary destination is not a typical restaurant. We are a premier culinary journey through India's royal regional cuisines, operating a scratch kitchen executed with the same narrative intent and precision that the world's finest omakase restaurants bring to Japanese dining.

In our first five months alone, we have welcomed over 15,400 guests almost entirely through word-of-mouth. We operate three distinct hospitality experiences simultaneously under one roof:

• The Private Omakase: A highly exclusive, 20-seat chef’s table ($175/person) personally narrated by our founder.

• Main Dining Room: A refined 140-seat space featuring an à la carte and 7-course culinary tasting menu ($110+/person).

• The Bar & Patio: A vibrant 95-seat beverage-focused lounge with a bespoke cocktail program designed by an award-winning mixologist.

As our hospitality group prepares to launch its second distinct concept in August 2026, we are seeking a foundational leader. This is not a standard corporate management job; it is a guardianship. You will step in as the operational conscience of our flagship restaurant, working hand-in-hand with the founder to protect our standards and eventually scale into a multi-unit executive role.

The Growth & Career Trajectory

We are looking for a high-potential leader—ideally an elite Assistant General Manager or high-caliber Senior Manager—who has lived and breathed world-class service standards and is eager to step up into autonomous ownership.

• Months 1–12: Embed yourself into the fabric of our service rhythm. Master the floor, establish deep trust with the FOH staff, and master our narrative tasting menus.

• Months 12–24: Assume full General Manager accountability, taking complete ownership of flagship floor operations, financial P&L segments, and co-captaining the exclusive private omakase experience alongside the founder.

• Years 3–5: Direct promotion into a Multi-Unit Head of Operations, overseeing regional brand expansions and new property launches across the group.

What This Role Owns

• Front-of-House Guardianship: Command floor leadership, service pacing, and premium guest experiences across all three dining spaces simultaneously.

• The Pre-Shift Culture: Lead the crucial 45 minutes before doors open, setting a warm, exacting tone for the service team.

• Team Development & Mentorship: Recruit, onboard, and coach a highly polished FOH bench, leading with empathy and clarity rather than rigid, fear-based management.

• Guest Experience & Recovery: Personally touch tables, build relationships with a discerning corporate and local clientele, and manage our multi-tier guest recovery protocol via SevenRooms.

• P&L & Operational Efficiency: Partner closely with the leadership team to drive labor efficiency, beverage cost controls, and revenue target execution.

The Candidate Blueprint (Non-Negotiable Requirements)

• Fine Dining Pedigree: Minimum 5+ years of leadership within a Michelin-starred, Michelin-recognized, Forbes 4/5 Star property, or an equivalent top-tier independent fine dining establishment. The baseline of luxury hospitality must be lived, not studied.

• Multi-Experience Management: Proven experience managing multi-room concepts, multi-experience venues, or complex private dining profiles concurrently.

• Pacing & Narrative Fluency: A genuine, deeply intuitive understanding of premium tasting menus, wine pairings, or omakase service rhythms.

• Business Literacy: Solid experience monitoring labor costs, managing food/beverage expenses, and reading P&L sheets.

• A "Quiet Force" Leadership Style: Calm under heavy pressure, intensely detail-oriented, and genuinely driven by hospitality as a calling. You are comfortable supporting a visionary founder and elevating the team beneath you.

• No QSR, corporate fast-food, fast-casual, or casual-dining chain backgrounds .

• Strictly rigid, corporate hotel managers who have never operated within the agile, high-stakes environment of a premium independent restaurant.
