Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification as a COTA, with eligibility to practice in Rhode Island

• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting interventions for diverse learning needs
• Compassion, resilience, and excellent communication skills
• Organized and reliable, able to collaborate effectively with OT, educators, and other team members

Responsibilities:

• Support Occupational Therapists in providing direct and indirect services to students on a high-needs caseload
• Implement interventions aligned with IEP goals to help students improve functional skills
• Document progress and contribute to ongoing assessments and planning
• Engage positively with families, caregivers, and school staff
• Participate in safety care training and uphold safety protocols
