Join TeamHealth as a Practice Coordinator and play a vital role in supporting our Hospital Medicine team. In this role, you'll serve as a key administrative and operational partner, helping ensure patient encounters are accurately documented, captured, and submitted for billing. Your work will directly support physicians, hospital leaders, and operational teams while contributing to efficient practice operations and exceptional patient care. This role will be onsite at St. Vincent Medical Center HM ICU. The schedule will be Monday-Friday, 7am-11am for a total of 20 hours/week.

What You'll Do As a Practice Coordinator, you'll help keep daily hospital medicine operations running smoothly by supporting documentation, reporting, record management, and billing-related processes. You'll collaborate with clinicians, hospital staff, and TeamHealth leaders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the Hospital Medicine practice.
• Perform patient reconciliation, record processing, and documentation review.
• Ensure patient encounters are accurately captured and submitted to the appropriate Billing Center.
• Coordinate physician documentation and assist with record completion and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information to support billing activities.
• Prepare and distribute reports for clinicians and operational leadership.
• Support monthly reporting initiatives and participate in quarterly operational meetings.
• Collaborate with physicians, hospital staff, and TeamHealth leaders to support practice performance.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Assist with data collection and administrative projects that support operational success.
