Associate Attorney

AV-rated insurance defense firm seeks future Florida attorneys for its Pensacola office interested in practicing civil litigation. The position requires strong communication and writing skills. Job Responsibilities Include:- Extensive legal research and writing
- Drafting motions, memorandums and other pleadings
- Defending and conducting depositions
- Attending and arguing hearings
- Drafting appellate briefs
- Drafting deposition summaries
- Responding to discovery requests
- Managing multiple research and writing projects simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
- Support with trial preparation
- Competitive salary and benefits offered. Additional compensation for bar prep course considered depending on start date for recent graduates.
- The position requires excellent academic credentials, strong communication and writing skills, and comfortable interacting directly with clients, opposing counsel, and Judges.
