Occupational Therapist (OT)
Sigma Health Rehab is actively seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Sigma Health Rehab is excited to offer a per diem Occupational Therapy (OT) position to join our team of skilled therapists in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Duties of an exceptional therapist include:
- Evaluate residents' conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
- Relieve resident's pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
- Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
- Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
- Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
- Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort
OT Requirements Include:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Current New York State OT License
Sigma Health Rehab is recruiting for a weekend Occupational Therapist (OT) position at our client facility, Beth Abraham Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, located in Bronx, New York. Our team of compassionate physical, occupational, and speech therapists provides rehab services in a state-of-the-art rehab gym.
