Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, mentor and motivate production teams in a primarily Spanish-speaking environment
- Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and teamwork
- Provide training and development to optimize employee performance and personal growth
- Address and resolve employee issues at the initial stage
- Control process standards throughout various stages including mixing, fermentation, dividing, molding, proofing, baking, slicing, packaging, and coding.
- Monitor and report out on KPIs such as throughput, attainment, labor efficiency, and schedule adherence.
- Continuously improve production processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Analyze product loss (dough, finished goods, packaging) and implement corrective actions
- Monitor downtime and coordinate rapid response to production interruptions
- Partner with maintenance to prioritize and resolve equipment issues
- Utilize problem-solving tools (RCA, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.)
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment (bakery strongly preferred)
- Experience leading teams of 30+ employees
- Strong understanding of production processes, KPIs, and operational metrics
- Proven experience driving improvements in yield, waste, and downtime
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, RCA tools)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work the night shift and adapt to a fast-paced production environment
- Desire to relocate to the Sun Prairie, Wisconsin area
