Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

• Schedule:Monday-Friday, (outpatient clinic); Weekend On-Call: Friday 1700 - Monday 0800, approximately 1 week in every 6-7.
• Job Setting: Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic.
• Types of Cases: Child and adolescent psychiatry (ages 4-17); outpatient visits scheduled in 20-minute increments ranging from 20-120 minutes; average 7-10 patients per day in clinic. Weekend on-call includes accepting new admissions (typically voluntarily admitted, rare involuntary/mental health holds) and completing daily rounds on inpatients; average daily census of 15 (all units combined). Clinical areas include anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders. Familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application preferred or required. Pharmacotherapy required; family therapy preferred.
• Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 120 days

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified- minimum Board Certification Eligible
• Licensure: Montana licensure required, will consider IMLC
