Job Description
Title: CVOR RN - Cardiothoracic Operating Room

Schedule:
- Shift: 10-hour days, Monday-Friday, 06:30-17:00
- Call: Approximately 10 days per month, including one weekend per month

Assignment Details:
- Contract length: 13 weeks

Requirements:
- Minimum: 2 years of CVOR experience
- Required: BLS (BCLS) certification, circulator experience
- Preferred: CNOR certification, scrub experience

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the cardiothoracic operating room.
- Assist with complex cardiothoracic surgeries including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, and TAVR.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 36 hours (scrubs provided)
- Vaccination: Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Up to 7 days auto-approved time off (no holidays); no time off during first week
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (per unit policy)
